What Products to Use with Hada Crie?

The next most common question regarding Hada Crie after the most popular “Which Hada Crie model should I get?” question (which I’ve covered in this post) is…

“What products to use with Hada Crie?”

There is no absolute list to follow as you should experiment to find out what works best for you. But I understand it can be overwhelming since you can literally choose from hundreds, if not thousands, of products.

To help you have an idea of where to start, in this post I will share some products I like using with my Hada Crie Hot & Cool model (N2000).

Step 1: Warm Cleansing

Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micelle Solution [Amazon / eBay]
Although this is used traditionally as a makeup remover, but I find that the gentle but effective cleansing properties of this solution works well with Hada Crie to really draw out the dirt from the skin. The fact that I have my first dirty cotton pads from using this solution is proof of that (my cotton pads used to always be clean at the end of this step).

Muji Light Toning Water (High Moisture) [Muji / eBay]
This is another product I enjoy and put on rotation for this step. It is a simple toner that might not be eye-catching, but it does its job well and my skin feels nicely prepped after using this.

Step 2: Warm Moisture Up

There are two ways to go about this step: with the use of a cotton pad, and without. I use them interchangeably. Generally speaking, I always prefer not using cotton pads as I want to reduce any added stress on the skin, but the Hada Labo lotion works so well with Hada Crie I’m willing to overlook it for the benefits it provides.

Used with a cotton pad:
Hada Labo Hyaluronic Acid Lotion
[Amazon / eBay]
Hada Crie’s moisturizing mode boosts the hydrating powers of Hada Labo’s lotion to new heights! I love how plump my skin feels after this step!

Used without cotton pad:
It’s Skin Power 10 Formula Propolis [Amazon / eBay]
A serum with a really nice texture! I don’t feel bad about piling it on (to reduce the pull on the skin when moving Hada Crie around) because it’s so affordable!

Benton Snail Bee High Content Snail Essence (see review post) [Amazon / eBay]
Chock-full of awesome ingredients, this essence is a power worker. It works excellent on its own, but when paired with Hada Crie, its efficacy is further increased.

Avene Thermal Spring Water Spray [Amazon / eBay]
If the serum/essence/ampoule I’m using dries up too soon, I sometimes use this spray in place of adding more product. It’s important that you never use Hada Crie on skin that isn’t smooth enough to glide the gadget over, because you will risk damaging your skin otherwise!

Step 3: Warm Mask

Nature Republic Snail Solution Mask Sheet (see review post) [Amazon / eBay]
One of my favorite masks! Inexpensive but effective!

My Beauty Diary Imperial Bird’s Nest Mask [Amazon / eBay]
Another favorite of mine! The material of this mask is very thin and comfortable, and after using this, my skin is extremely hydrated. Lovely price point too!

Step 4: Cool Mode

No products necessary! ;)

I hope this was helpful in helping you find your own Hada Crie routine! You don’t have to go out and buy the exact same products I used; you can start by looking at what you have and work from there.

Happy experimenting!

Hi RIn, I know this post is already from last year, but I just wanted to tell you that I found your blog through that :)
I was searching for products to use them with face massagers such as the Panasonic Ion Effector (arrives today, yay!) and it’s nice to have a list with products available in Japan, but reviewed/described in English. I’m really curious to try out whether it was worth purchasing since research didn’t find any evidence for benefits of ionic skin care (so I see it rather as a face massager which shall motivate me to use products more extensively).
Are you still using your Hada Crie? What are your longterm results/verdict?

      Hi Kaeri,
Good to know my posts helped you :) Unfortunately, I’ve gotten a little lazy over time and am not using Hada Crie as often as I’d like so I cannot really speak for longterm results. I hope you’ll have good results with your new gadget though!

*Funnily I just noticed that your other post was from last year, and that I got a few typos in my comment. Oh well…

    Hi Rin,
aha I was about to ask where you bought that cradle/stand that holds your Hada Crie but then I looked on the internet and realized the N2000 had the cradle/stand bundled with the device. The N4000 just has a cap you put on the front and back plate. I couldn’t read the Japanese on the device so this helps so much!

    Thanks! :D
